Read the interview… thanks for the detailed narration of your thoughts and experience… The statement “What is direction? As far as I’m concerned, it is having conviction about the movie you are going to make, believing in it. My experience tells that a person with conviction can direct” was truly inspirational….
Shawshank Redemption is there in my collection….many times i’d watched a particular scene – where Andy is out of the prison and enjoys the rain (and freedom)!!!
K G George is one of my favorites. Like ‘Yavanika’ was a documentation of theater movement, ‘Lekhayude maranam oru flashback’ was one such on film industry. ‘Mattoral’ whad a dare subject and ‘Ee kanni koodi’ was the most unnoticed one. I loved Ee kanni koodi on the first watch, but could not find DVDs anywhere for a second watch. I would like to forget ‘Elavamkodu Desam’…. .. not seen his ‘Kolangal’ which many people referred as his best. How many film lovers can forget the unconventional end he gave for ‘Adaminte Variyellu’ ….?
‘Passenger’ was a well done movie and really liked it, congratulation on your success.
Thanks for revealing about your route of reaching there… It makes me really really hopeful.
