  2. Hey Ranjit,

I saw Passenger and loved it.

I have been planning to script a movie since I was a teenager but could never do it because of all other commitments in life. Now I am already 35 and have been working on a story idea since a couple of years. I have not yet started writing the script since it would require big actors. All this while, I was thinking that it is impossible for a newcomer to work with big actors and then I saw Passenger. I have been reading your blogs and it has inspired me to believe that it is really possible. Before writing the script for the big movie, I have now started writing screenplay for an ultra-low budget movie so that I can get started on a low scale. I just wanted to know from you if that is a good strategy or should I just start writing the script for the big movie.

    Thanks in advance.

    keep in touch.

  4. Sir,

First of all, congratulations for all the awards and accolades that’s pouring in. Hope you will rake in many more for Arjunan Sakshi.

As much as i am aware that you are totally engrossed in your new project’s pre- production work, am really excited at the prospect of finishing an engaging script in a months time. I am a s/w developer. Since am not from the industry, i am not aware as to how i need to take things forward. It would be of great help if you could share you e-mail id or a secondary email id on the mail id i have posted. I will make sure its not passed on to anyone. Hoping to get a reply, thanks.

  5. Hi Drishyan,

Thanks a lot for your advice. I got your point.
I had a very hard time trying to understand what you wrote as I cannot read Malayalam very well.
I am basically a Malayali though born and brought up in Pune. I learnt Malayalam in the train on my travel to Kerala when I was in 12 years old. I manage to remember most of the alphabets, thats the reason I could understand what you meant.

    Thanks once again.

    Regards
    RBF

  6. Hi Ranjith,
I remember seeing red promos of Arjunan Saakshi. Now they has turned blue. Any specific reason?

    Best regards
    Ranjeet

  7. RBF,
I did not write passenger script with stars in mind.I wrote the first draft of Arjunan Saakshi in 1999.Prithvi hadnt started acting then.Writing a good commericial script is no easy task.It requirs plenty of rewrites, thinking, and time.If you start from budget and stars that might end u nowhere.Write the movie you want to make from your heart but applying brains.Rest can be thought of later.

    Ranjeeth,
I felt blue suited better.Especially since I Roy Mathew has an architechture background..blueprint etc etc..Red looked violent.

  8. Hi Ranjit,

    I got your point.

    Really appreciate your reply.

    Thanks
    RBF
