Super cool movie.
Perhaps an ideal model of filmmaking in the present times.A writer/director decides to produce it.A superstar decides to act and distribute it!!
Result is smart pranchiyettan. One of the finest perfomances from mammutty.
Dont miss it.It has its wonderful moments.
Way to go Ranjith!!

SUPER SATIRE. HATS OFF TO DIRECTOR ‘RENJITH’ WHO REMINDS US THAT FILMS ARE NOT ONLY FOR ENTERTAINMENT BUT AN ART FORM TOO; ITS A MEDIA.

Well it was one of the movies that provoked me to write about it as soon as i left the cinema with a brimming heart for having watched something that’s quite unusual in Malayalam Cinema World. Result: A wall entry on Facebook about it. Renjith sir has always been a master of good art and when it comes to introducing something new, he’s the best. Be it ‘Kaiyoppu’, or ‘Paleri’. ‘Kerala Cafe’ was a genre that many a Malayali viewer had never seen in their life. And now, here’s ‘Pranchiyettan & The Punnyaalan!’, an almost flawless satire devoid of slapstick humour. The best thing was that the dialogues and the twists were so plain and simple. Even the humour elements were realistic. Satisfying is the fact that we people get to see movies that are far away from commercial motives only. And Mammookka did an amazing job. Special mention for ‘Eeppan’ and Innocent.

This was wat i xpectd!
They (Mamuka and RanjiSir) r now on right track…
doing 1 movi in each year, collecting all claps as well a awards……
Wat i cant understand till now is, y ranji sir s giving all dese kind f chara to mamuka and all “ROCKing AND ROLLing” characters to lalettan?
wat ever it may be, ranjiyettan as a director, has improved a lot…
Each film has a new variety luk, content….

This is the kind of movie , where we never have to compromise on any of the aspects of the movie .
